La Petite Maison is a detached newly renovated studio style house. Set within beautiful Quercy Blanc countryside, Le Buffan's "Petite Maison" is ideally located for self-catering holidays.
Overlooking a 9 hole golf course, on the borders of the Lot and Tarn et Garonne, the house offers couples a tranquil retreat, yet it is only 25 minutes from Cahors, with a great variety of shops, markets and restaurants.
Le Buffan, built in 1769, is located high above the surrounding countryside, with beautiful views over a nine hole golf course and arable fields in the valley below. La Petite Maison (to the right if this picture) has been renovated to a high standard and offers good, comfortable, accommodation for two people.
Within the gardens and on the terrace there are good locations for alfresco dining with a permanent BBQ close the primary view point. The gardens are full of fruit trees with over 100 plum trees. Feel free to make all the jam you want in August.
This is the principal room newly decorated. It is equipped with facilities offering comfort and sizeable space for any length of stay. A large double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, a sofa, and a dining facility is also inside. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard and contains everything needed for self catering holidays.
This is the view from the swimming pool area. (OK it's not, but let's stick to this for a minute - it looks nice, shaded and tranquil) How many rooms are there (sizes if pos)? Max Number of guests you could put up? Are children or pets allowed? through our small wooded area in search of plums. Remind me to tell you the storey of the boar in the well.
From this splendid location, you'll be able to explore some of the most beautiful and untouched French countryside. Beyond the poplar tree is the 6th fairway. Cuckoos and nightingales fill the air with song for most of the year, and buzzards often hunt in the corn fields below. Wild boar sometimes rummage through our small wooded area in search of plums. Remind me to tell you the story of the boar in the well!
